Start/Finish Volcano's 'Öhi'a Lehua Runs Kalanikoa Rd Haunani Rd Amaumau Rd Old Volcano Rd Mahiai Rd Sk Turn Kilauea Rd Wright Rd Road Closure on Saturday, July 29, 2023 The fourth annual Volcano's 'hi'a Lehua Run will take place in Volcano Village on Saturday, July 29th from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The race will take runners from The Volcano School of Arts & Sciences on Old Volcano Road up Kalanikoa to Kilauea and Wright Road. There will be road closure on Old Volcano Road from Kalanikoa Road to Highway 11 from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. Residential traffic will be permitted through the course during this time, but residents are encouraged to minimize traffic.
