Road Closure on Saturday, August 14th The second annual Volcano's 'Õhi'a Lehua Run will take place in Volcano Village on Saturday, August 14th from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The race will take runners from The Volcano School Volcano's 'Õhi'a Lehua Runs Mahiai Rd of Arts & Sciences on Old Volcano Road up Kalanikoa to Kilauea and Wright Road. There will be road closure on Old Volcano Road from Kalanikoa Road to Highway 11 from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. Residential traffic will be permitted through the course during this time, but residents are encouraged to minimize traffic.
