We are a husband and wife team located on the Big Island of Hawaii in Hilo. We are both local to Hilo being born and raised here and began TN Photography officially in 2011.
From the beginning, our philosophy toward providing photography services was that the "service" is just as important as the "photography". For starters, in order to provide excellent photographs to our clients, we begin by making sure that we are the right photographers for you. You wouldn't want a car salesman to try to sell you a lifted 4x4 truck when you actually need a economical fuel efficient car, right? Before taking on any assignment, it is important for us to understand what it is that you are looking for while also helping you to understand what it is we are able to provide.
In an effort to expand on sharing our creativity with others, we have taught a Photography and Digital Camera Basics course through the University of Hawaii at Hilo CCECS program and have also had the privilege of having our work published on the J.Crew website, Pacific Business News, Hawaii Business Magazine, the Hawaii Tribune Herald and featured on the KITV4 News. We have also had the honor of being voted the Hawaii Tribune Herald's Best of East Hawaii in 2017 and finalist in 2018!
